Yep. Here it is. The flashpoint of the Elephant 6 Recording Company. The debut vinyl release by The Apples in stereo. A painstakingly recreated reissue of the single from 1993 along with 16pp booklet, poster, arbitrary Apples and Elephant 6 stickers and random inserts to boot. Art (mostly) done by W. Cullen Hart from The Olivia Tremor Control and, good gravy, it's all so gorgeous to look at. Only 100 copies available on yellow vinyl. 50 copies on red are going with Robert to Japan this coming month for his tour with John Ferguson!

This could've easily come off as a cynical cash-grab by a band that had broken up 11 years prior to the release of this record, but that's not what this is. A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
