The Buckshot Boys were Wetumpka, Alabama's favorite sons on Channel 54. A decade or so ago, they went to All Tomorrow's Parties in England after being promised there was outstanding deer hunting to be had by those jokers in Mogwai. Once they realized they had been duped, they went to talking to the "local folk." Beards were grown. Bucksnort was snorted. A DVD was made.

Around the same time, DJ Jerry Clancy and The Buck Butcher went into the Ole Elegante recording studio in Birmingham, Alabama and recorded "The Ultimate Survival Machine" which goes on and on and on about how the white-tail deer is....well, the ultimate survival machine. They also explain Buckzilla.

Recorded in the same studio in the same week and the same musicians that appear on St. Vincent's debut album, let's just say it's a far cry from that masterpiece.

The first copies of the single (about six) come with a copy of the Buckshot Boys DVD fresh from the Chunklet warehouse.
