To hear Damon explain it, these tracks were intended for Fred Schneider from The B52's. Now while I tend to believe him, I also can't fathom where Fred would even fit amidst the frenetic guitar storm on these two tracks. Be warned Canaries fans, let these two jams serve as a precautionary salvo across the deck. Expect an album of previously unreleased material to surface this summer. And yes, they are absolutely scorching.

The single itself is sealed in a chipboard sleeve. Edition of 150.

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
