The two powerful, stirring recordings on this EP represent a once in a lifetime collaboration documented live int he Rogue Lounge at Terrastock in Providence, Rhode Island during the spring of 1997. Performers included Dave Pearce from Flying Saucer Attack, Jason DiEmilio and Jason Knight from the Azusa Plane and Carl Hultgren from Windy & Carl with the brothers Gibbons from Bardo Pond joining in on the second track. Their efforts were entirely symbolic of the weekend's open attitude towards music and life. Lightning never strikes twice in the same place, and 'Providence' will remain a starkly eloquent statement proving just that.
